I did! I liked my Mr. Potato Head but I wanted a Mrs. Potato head but didn't get her.

With St. Patrick's Day coming up, a fun potato recipe to make is an "Irish" potato candy. You make it with mashed potato and powdered sugar, vanilla and some evaporated milk. Mold it to look like a potato and roll it into cinnamon-sugar. Make "eyes" with a toothpick. It really looks like a potato!!!

I used this in the classroom. But in all honesty, it is super sweet. I didn't like it.

But it's fun!

I can only imagine how sweet it is, but I bet the kids went crazy over them!

Most of the kids didn't care to eat it. Waaay too sweet. But it looked exactly like a little potato so they got a kick out of it. It was perfect for our St. Patrick's Day/Ireland lesson. Didn't take much time or money.
