When you get upset, do you notice anything around the house malfunctioning when you handle it or are in the general area?

There is an inside joke around our home, when we're off the road. When something goes out, I always hear, "Is everything alright in there?"

I really can attest to mostly shortages, or appliances going out like the computer, t.v. or microwave when I'm in a fowl mood. In fact my husband pretty much just comes and finds me, and says, "O.K. you sit over here before you break anything really expensive and tell me what's wrong." lol.

What's really wild is when it will just happen to one t.v. Like he'll be playing on a game cube and the t.v will go out and the fuses downstairs will be just fine or a bulb explodes as I'm changing it.

I know Sometimes it's just the weather or some other natural cause, but it feels different when it's not. The anger is usually somewhere in my stomach or head just before this stuff happens.

With me it's thunderstorms and winds. If there is bad weather, I have a friend who will call to ask what I'm mad about. It's become a bit of a joke, but I try very hard not to get that angry. I don't believe in coincedences and when something happens several times, chances are it's not one.

That was really interesting for me to read. I have a computer guy that now jokes with me about how can this happen to the TV, Computer, Channel Changer, etc. But he doesn't even blink now because he knows things that aren't possible are here. There other night he said how does this happen to the computer than said oh yeah I forgot were I was. Then he reprogramed my Channel Changer and as soon as I picked it up it didn't work. He picked it up and it worked fine. He said Ok just don't touch it. Then I told him about this site I summbled upon recently that was about Street light Interfernce. I could not believe what I was reading. For you see all my life I have secretly told my self ever time I drove by a Street light that blew out that I had done that. Half joking with myself but always kind of beleiving that I had done it somehow. I had never discussed this with anyone and there was a site of people that all felt the same way. I was stunned. He said he had that too. I asked everyone I know for a while if they had ever noticed that coninsidence and they all never noticed anything like that. Except Mark . My Computer Guru. Every day I discover more and more. Like Orbs. I thought I had made that up a long time ago. Now I get many many orbs at a time ( since the death of my Son) I don't know if that has anything to do with it but its very interesting to say the least.

Raven, your post made me realize how frequently the streetlight thing has happened to me and family members. I remember my Mother making the cross symbol near the windshield when it happened, and I continued the "tradition." This is just one of those "weird" things that happens so frequently, I had never really thought about it. I guess it's normal for my family.

Does anyone know whether or not streetlights are on timers? I have the electric thing happening to me - good greif, like all of the time. It happens with remotes, stereos, tv's - meaing fuses fine but t.v.'s/stereos do that thing that makes popping sound and clicks off. remotes don't turn it back on, i'll have to manually do it. Microwaves and computers too.

Most street lights on are light sensitive timers, but can also be tricked by lightning strikes and bumps to the light pole. Even as a child, street lights at night would go out as our car passed under them. It's something that's been a consistent part of my life, that I had never really pondered. I guess it was just too ordinary.

There is a street light within view of my bed and for at least 3 months it's been turning on and off all through the night. However, I think I've figured out a possible culprit. It's near a large hump by the railroad tracks and it may be triggered by headlights. I'll think I'll watch tonight to see if I can verify this.

Of course this doesn't explain the street lights which turn off as my car approaches with unexplained regularity.

Let me know what you find out. I wondered about the timers. We've been on the road for the past year now. Our driving is at such odd hours too. In the pitch of night the street lights do go off when we go under them. I didn't think too much about it until an article started circulating about electric people.

Most of it happens around electronics, fixtures, appliances, etc. sometimes a bulb will pop. Things will malfunction but I can't do it on command. It always happens though when I'm stressed or upsetand I'm zoned out, in another world contemplating. Either way, it'll be when I'm highly emotional.

You would know now that I'm paying attention and watching for it, the darn street light hasn't been going on and off. So I haven't been able to test my theory about car lights affecting the light sensor in them when the cars go over the railroad track bump.

I'll keep at it though. With recurring situations, I always try to debunk first, before chalking it up to my normal daily weirdness. But I can attest, these things do happen with greater intensity and frequency when I'm emotionally and/or mentally stressed. After over 20 years of income tax preparation I retired. Things were always very active for me during tax season, being near complete exhaustion and overwhelmed on a daily basis.

I used to work in a brokerage firm. There were always these people, especially during tax season but whenever, really, they were feeling "lonely", unapreciated & bored frankly...that would erk me to no end! They were the ones that LOVED going out to eat or to the mall and would phone, after they were finished, saying "I'm on my way to see (broker) I want my cost basis when I get there." They enjoyed making the office "hop".

Oh - the good times, lol whistle Glad I'm done w/that place.

Anyway, the copy machine would go out a few minutes after I hit the on switch and I'd have to unplug it and reset or the computer would freeze, the phone line would cut out, etc.

It's a different type of tension. seems to be one where there is no outlet. my husband, pretty much on command, can raise his temperature. I started noticing it about 8 months ago. He wont be ill but he'll have a temperature of about 101 - 102 when he's emotional or just thinking. He use to think he was sickly, but i started puting two and two together and whenever I "felt" him getting intense, I'd break the cycle by having him go outside or for a walk, swing in the park down the street when we are home, etc. His temperature would drop in like 20 min. I think it's going to be similar to what the articles are describing with "electric People."

Although they may feel like it, I'm not ready to accept we're from other planets...o.k. ... O.k. cross-bred maybe, lol.
