Here's the latest article from the Single Life site at BellaOnline.com.

Being Single in a Crisis
During times of crisis, single women tend to make mistakes such as looking for a mate any mate. But it is during these times that we need to take a giant step back and get a grip on our lives, our senses, and start putting focus on ourselves and our future.

Exactly right. My parents raised me to be very independent and self-sufficient. (Unsure if they realized this or not.) Whenever a major problem or crisis has occured in my life, I have always believed that I can handle this in a positive way. If I need help, guidance or support, I will ask for it. But ultimately it comes down to me since it is my life on the edge of the frying pan. I would have it no other way. Natasha

Absolutely! We are all responsible for our own happiness and well being. And... it is also important to recognize when you need help and to ask for it without feeling that it takes away from your independence. My motto it, ''There is a solution to everything!''

As a single, whose also a single parent...I had to learn to not panic at every crisis that came along. I own a house and about a year ago, my water heater, furnace AND stove broke all within a 10 month period. I was worried because I didn't have the money to replace any of it. I had to actually MAKE myself not worry about it and as I stopped worrying, things fell into place one after another and it was all taken care of. For those that believe, you know GOD is good...
Natasha, my parents were like yours. Before I went to college my dad taught me how to change a tire, check the oil...etc...
Now I have my OWN set of tools (some power ones too :))
