Hey guys!! I don't have a digital camera to take a picture of Zeta, but I would like him to get to full health before I do that anyway. Shouldn't be too long now. His finds are iridescent and his body is purple. Not red, not blue. However, if I shine a flashlight on him, I can see red and blue, but without the light he is all purple. If I look down from the top of the tank, his back has this gorgous streak of brilliant purple. I would love to show you picture of my 2 year old Alfie. He is the most beatiful fish I have ever seen. Teal, red, green, but all his colors are like perfectly placed. And his skin or scales or whatever actually look feathery instead of scaly. It is not a disease, it is just how he looks, I mean like a painted canvas. Does anyone know what I mean by feathery?
Blu- I just saw your purple picture. I see how you mentioned you can notice the red and blue. I don't see the red or blue in Zeta at all, withought a flashlight. I can't beleive he was just the one I won at the boardwalk and just so happens to be purple. He isn't as pretty as yours since he doesn't have the full colored fins and tail, but he is getting more pretty the healthier he becomes. I am just glad to have saved his life thanks to all of you here. Therefore, you all saved him too. Give yourselves a pat on the back.
Once he is better, i will try to get a pic for you all. I should try to get one of Alfie to share as well, but his large bowl is made of a very thick glass so i don't know how the pic would even come out. If so, how do you even post a pic?
