I think it would depend a lot on how old you are, and what the rules are in your state (and school) for piercings.

I've seen a couple of teen girls with very small studs in the nose that are cute. But I've also heard they can be very hard to take care of - especially in the beginning. Or maybe that's a bed way to put it - more that they need to be well taken care of in order to prevent infection.

Be sure to check out Rae's (our body art editor) page on Body Piercing articles

Dice, there are many types of body piercings, but many of them are illegal for piercers to perform on young people under the age of 18.

Be sure to check your local rules and regulations before you get your mind all set on something.

Some piercers will work on minors with parental consent. You will have to ask around and get consultations. That doesn't mean pick a shady piercer just because they are willing to work on you either. A good piercest will always put their clients safety before their profit. The list of things (body parts) that you can pierce is limited only by you and your anatomy.

MY suggestions are not proper school propositions. I had my eyebrow pierced (when I was 19), and my nipple and my nose when I turned 25. I am now soon to be 29 and I do not have any of those anymore.

I had to get rid of the eyebrow piercing when i started working in a hotel, it was a summer job. I lost my nipple piercing two months before I would get pregnant with my 1st child and lost my nose piercing two months before getting pregnant with my 2nd one smile
