Someone just pointed out to me that this website - Good Search will donate money to a charity of your choice when you install their yahoo toolbar and use it to search for whatever you are searching for. Of course, I would recommend a pet bird rescue but you can certainly choose any charity. Give it a try. You can even search directly from their site and indicate a charity and it says they will send money to the charity.

They also have a great website called Good Shop, which is an online shopping site with links to all your favorite stores (including PetsMart and other pet supply shops). If you go to the store through Good Shop, they donate a percentage of the sale to the charity of your choice, just like Good Search. It's a really easy way to earn money for charity!
