Hi - I am trying to move from crocheting simple blankets and scarfs to a more intermediate pattern for a sweater. What is the best way to begin to figure out what all those abbreviations mean?

Hi Sue,

Most of the patterns or books have the abbreviations included. If they don't you can check out some online patterns. My advice would be to print off the abbreviations and keep them with you while you are working the new pattern.

There are some great basic sweaters for babies to get you started.

Give a shout if you need help. I am sure somebody will help.
