To update this thread, there's a "mini-stimulus" being discussed: I have an idea that I think would have a greater impact: Instead of cash prizes, offer a healthfood lottery- with gift cards for food only at every healthfood store nationwide: The government would be reimbursed by ticket sales and taxes on the store's profits, the healthfood stores would see more customers and the working poor ( they buy the most lottery tickets) would be introduced to healthfoods they may not have gotten otherwise. I call that a win-win situation.
