Mikie - not only is it new songs but you can import all the previous songs for only $5 so you instantly double your songs. Plus yes I really like the new gameplay a lot better. We are having a *fantastic* time playing it. We got the Ion drum set for it and it makes the experience for the drummer just like playing "real drums".
