BellaOnline Forums Books and Music Romance Novels How Deep Is Your TBR Romance Stack?

I know some of us read fast, while others don't. Just how tall is your romance novel to-be-read stack? A dozen? A hundred? More?

I usually read a book with in one day so my stack stays very small. I'm really beginning to wonder what I am going to do with all the ones I have now that I have read. I have my favorites that I will keep of course, but the rest...I have no clue.

I've taken to saying in the last couple years that I'm collecting books for my retirement. Of course, I have at least 20 years until then....

I have at least 40 books on my specific shelves set aside for "to be reviewed". The problem is more come in every week and even though I read very quickly I don't always have time every day to read them. A portion of those are romances, although not all of them

I like mostly historical romances so any modern ones tend to get shunted elsewhere!

I am with Lisa on the historical/fantasy romances. There is also a subgenre of mystery/supernatural romances that I enjoy.

My stack of these is pretty thick, though. It's several stacks, actually. I have not had time for a novel in at least two months. I figure I will bring them into the RV, and as I read them, I will leave them in the RV campground libraries for others to enjoy.

I like your idea Jill to leave the books at the RV campground libraries for others to read. I could probably find some place to donate my books as well. Though don't try to donate your books to a normal library because they usually just rip off the covers and throw them a way for some reason. I know this because my husband and I had to try a donate about 500,000 books (not an exaggeration) and the library was the last place to take them and when they did 75% of them were thrown away. :(
