As I watch the morning news, and I hear all of the extended hype of Michelle Obama's fashions for the day. She steps out in a beautiful soft yellowish or "Lemon Meringue" dress. I wonder how many fashion designers will copy or knockoff the First Lady's outfits that are shown today. Let The games begin!! Nikki-Senior Image Consultant-Plus Size Specialist UCImaging

She made me shiver, though! It was COLD out there, but I guess fashion triumphs over goosebumps. That goes for Laura Bush too, who also braved the cold with a bare neck.

I too loved her dress. As I poll other fashion critics and lookers, many thought she was borderline douty. Maybe because of the heavy weight of the material. My reply was- my goodness it was freezing this morning. The heavier the better. She wore it well. Nikki Curry- Image Consultant UC Imaging & Apparel

She looked lovely, reminiscent of Jackie Kennedy ... very sophisticated.

I read this morning that the designer had no idea that Michelle was going to wear her dress today... imagine that!!

I liked the evening gown and I don't think it was a bad choice at all. However, she looked stunning. The only problem I have now is how so many fashionistas are trying to recreate the look. They are going as far as saying it looks just like a bridal gown at "David's Bridal" for half the cost. Are you kidding me? Obviously, this will be the talk of the town for days to come.

I too felt the Jackie O factor. If she felt beautiful and elegant in the gown then that's all that matters. The fashion critics just need to hear themselves talk.

I thought the dress was too over-the-top and too old for her. I did not like how it fit on her. It seemed to bunch up in the middle. She is a beautiful woman but this outfit was not right. Sasha and Malia looked fabulous, though.
