Right, he's over the third bridge. When you find a bridge that 'runs into' a ledge, just go straight past that ledge (i.e. straight off the bridge) and he's right there in front of you, standing by a fallen over log.
If you can't find that, go back to the beginning of the level and start counting bridges. One is right in front of you.
