Guess what? I just bought something on ebay and the person who sold me the item shipped it and sent me an email. Here is a piece of that email:
If our 30 day average detailed rating is at a 4.9 or better, we save a little money on those fees. That allows us to lower the prices on some items, which is good for you and for us. I know that 4 seems like a good rating, and 3 is average, but an average of 4 (good) will get a seller booted off Ebay.
Wow - ebay seems to really be getting tough....
I live in the Tampa area and it took me 2 weeks to get a book that was mailed from Tampa. I gave them a very low shipping rating.
