I'm looking for a recommendation on a liquid soap base to make my families bath gel. I want to buy in at least gallon sizes (I have sons who shower at least twice a day).

Does anyone have recommendations on vendors or brands?
Is it possible to make liquid soap from M&P?

No, liquid soap is made with oils, lye and water as with making bar soap, but it is a different lye. Lye used in liquid soap is pottassium Hydroxide, in bar soap you would use Sodium Hydroxide.
However I know there are several soap supplys that carry liquid soap base. Just add fragrance and color, and away you go. One great place to buy it is bittercreek.com but there are many others, just search for soap supply comanies and you should find a bunch. HTH.
