A member posted today about having muscle twitches with their autoimmune thyroid disease and I believe they listed Hashimoto's as the thyroid disease they have.
I had to delete another new post today that was obviously only intended to advertise an adult site but somehow this other legitimate post also disappeared.
To that member, I wish to apologize because this was not intended to happen! Please do come back and post we would love to have you!

I want to address that subject in hopes you will be back to see this thread:

Muscle twitching is a neuropathy symptom and more-so identified with Graves' disease and other types of hyperthyroidism but can occur in autoimmune hypothyroid patients as well.
Here are some medical sources that associate neuropathies with thyroid disease, two of them connecting it to hypothyroidism specifically.

"The prevalence and characteristics of polyneuropathy were assessed using standard clinical and electrophysiological criteria in 39 consecutive outpatients with primary hypothyroidism, 15 of whom were previously untreated....
Using standard electrophysiological criteria, a definite diagnosis of polyneuropathy was made in 28 cases (72%). The commonest sites of abnormal nerve conduction were the sensory nerves, especially the sural nerve. Polyneuropathy was generally mild."
