Hi, Sweetestsin. I tried to be good. Even joined in on the fitness forum to get in a contest seeing who would be disciplined enough to lose weight and eat right but to no avail.

I enjoyed it all: eggnog, bread pudding, apple pie, good food (not healthy food), good tasting food and that's just for starters. So, I did not do well staying fit during the holidays but I have a new goal.

Work out like crazy for the next eleven months and should we see another Thanksgiving holiday season, I can splurge and not feel guilty about putting on a few pounds. Then after the new year, get back on track (well, right after Super bowl....uhhh, after Valentine's day) blush

well i saw on this celeb fitness show once that you pick a day to indulge in your craving and then work out and continue healthy the rest of the week...almost like working around it...real simple but it's a start!!

glad to see someone else feels that way too, it's not the holidays if I have to watch what I eat so much or only eat like a rabbit while everyone else enjoys their meal....yeah, you and I together will be hitting the treadmill like crazy.

Good luck and hang in there. You can do it, just put your mind to it.

rulez09, I'll take that tip into consideration but to just indulge in one day will really make me feel gluttoness and lazy. sick

I try not to eat when I am full or not hungry.. even around the holidays.

If I do, I may take a bite and throw the rest in the trash.

I learned that from my 99 pound sister. She doesn't gain an ounce over the holidays, and I caught her taking a bite out of every flavor cookie and throwing the rest away.

Now that's a tip. Indulge in the flavor but don't over indulge in the fat. I'm with this one ev'rybody.

Hey everyone, we have a winner tip for the year. Thankx DMichelle.
