I was just curious if anyone knows how big wine crystals can get at the bottom of wine barrels?

And what are they shaped like?

Thanks smile

Hi! The crytals you are referring to also form on the end of the cork in the bottle. They are tartrates which settle out of the solution (wine) over time. Completely harmless. Not sure what the shape of the crystals are considered. Hope this helps!
