I have a striped, retangular-shaped potholder crocheted on the diagonal in single crochet. It is approximately 8 inches by 6-1/2 inches. It is folded and I cannot figure out how it is sewn together, as all the sides are folded. There appears to be no side seams anywhere.

Does anyone know anything about this pattern. I would love to be able to copy it. Thanks.

I think what you are looking for is the "Magic Potholder". I know there are several patterns out there, but I stopped looking when I found one. I have not made this one, so can't recommend this pattern, but it will give you an idea if it is what you are looking for. This one is at 'Learn to Crochet'.
