yeah, I guess It's not a guy thing to sit around and talk about babies =)

But It's so hard for me to accept that sitting around and talking about babies is basically what I am destined to do for the rest of my life! When we go to my in-laws, there are literally 2 things the women discuss- Topic #1- babies, pregnancy, kids. Topic #2- DECORATING!!! I mean, I appreciate a good paint job as much as the next person but let's face it..it's PAINT!

on_a_roll, there's nothing wrong with you. If you want to hang out with the guys, I say go for it! Quite often I find myself doing just that... unless they are talking sports (in which case they might as well be speaking Latin).

I am really into my job, and I find that men often take a much greater interest in my career than women do. They ask a lot of great questions, and I really enjoy telling them about what I do.

Ah! But which is more painful, listening to baby-talk, or sports-talk? grin

Sports fever can actually be quite contagious if they are actually watching a game.

Hahaha..that's just what I said Michelle wink Just have to pick between the lesser of the two, I suppose.

Like I said earlier to Jilly, maybe one day I can be like her and just say when I am tired of listening to it all. (In a nice way of course) That seems it might be a little tricky for me when there is more than one mother in the conversation, and I am the only non-mother there.

In a case of all the men talking sports, and all the women being mothers, I would, in that case, probably just get quietly drunk and zone out. lol
