A lot of people are feeling the money crunch this year. I was laid off myself a few weeks ago but that gives me more time to be really creative, lol!

Are you shopping and giving gifts as usual or has this financial crisis changed your ways?

Thanks for the article. I love your ideas! I think making your own gifts is a great way to go, especially when you can recycle.

Great article, Gayle- Coffee! I love coffeee so those gifts would definitely be apreciated by me. smile

I haven't gone shopping yet but I have to do it soon. I hope that I find discounted items so that I can buy some stuff...

I found a great savings website: https://couponoffers.intuit.com/. You can pick the category you are interested in at the top and then look for a coupon/deal below. There are so many stores that you should be able to find the shop of your choice.

Thanks for the website. I use a lot of coupons and find a lot of good ones online for things I need. I'll add this one to the list.

We aren't really changing our holiday spending this year. My husband's job is pretty secure and we've cut back in other areas, like getting a smaller car when gas prices were high.

I will be the Grinch here.....

I have to say that each year I am more appalled by the commercialization of Christmas! I bet the total number of people who actually attend Midnight Christmas Mass is less than a fourth of the number of people who stand in line for hours the day after Thanksgiving to kick off the Christmas shopping season!
