this one helps with the stress that holiday shopping brings. Instead of spending endless amount of hours inside malls, why not buy everyone on your list gift cards. for instance, Safeway grocery stores carry over 300 gift cards with a huge selection. That way you can get everyone on your list in just one shot, and even get tonights dinner! what do you think?

I use gift cards a lot but this year have read that you need to carefully read the fine print on the cards you choose and make sure you don't choose one that the company may go out of business.

I hate going to the mall and shop on line a lot. They have lots of free shipping around the holidays.

Great tip on stress relieving for the holidays, although some people might think that a gift card means you didn't want to make the effort and think of something for them.

That is another reason to stress, in my opinion. I think a nice greeting card can fix this.

Right gift cards have all sorts of strings on them and some huge amount of them never get cashed. That is often reported as a scam by scam-watchers. I would stay away from gift cards, and go for something handmade instead if you are trying to stay away from "commercial" gifts.

YIKES Kristin I'm so sorry to hear that! Does home insurance cover something like that?
