Is anyone planning on shopping for a new coat this season? If so, check out Burlington-- they are offering 10% off a new coat with the donation to their coat drive. Pretty good deal imo!

I'm in the mood for something new, too! I would love to have something nice to wear to parties. I never know what length to buy and always end up with either something too short or too long in my closet.

Is it better to have one that's guaranteed to be below the hemline of your dress or is it alright for it to be slightly above it?

Dear msbaby I think that the knee length is the exact. Why don't you check this link Plus Size Fall Coats. They are not just plus size.

I usually prefer the coats which are of the hemline of the dress. It looks nice when the borders of the dress do not knob from the coat.

All right! In my opinion if the dress is with length to the calf of the leg, or evening dress it's better to buy full length coat. But if the party dress is above the knees it's better to wear knee length fall coat.

We have a Burlington here in Tampa - and yes - we Floridians need coats!

I would actually like to try finding a cape for a coat. I've never had one and they look so sophisticated.....or I could make one......

I was planning on picking up a nice new coat after Christmas at a discount. But I believe that the retailers may have outfoxed me! I went out shopping today and the merchandise already looked very thin. I'm afraid that I have missed the early holiday discounts.
