Apparently workers were hired to do canvassing for Obama but when they showed up for their checks they got short-changed.

"It was supposed to be $120. All I get is $90."

Those workers just need to be more patriotic and less selfish and share their wealth with people that haven't earned it.

The photo or video to the right of this link, that pretty much says it. I sense greatly, we see more and more of those.

It will be the absolute hardest on those who walk blindly expecting Obama and/or the gov't to hand them money every month. It will not commence, even if it should for a time, it's not a permanent thing. I urge people to absolutely get over whatever they have to and pull their own weight in their communities, garden, schools, streets, etc.

Socialism - study it. Go back in history, not to toot a horn or anything, just for awareness. It won't be any different because this man is black. These things happen so we learn or are supposed to, anyway. Large groups, civilizations, countries fall. None are any more special than the others. There will be the head in the sand groups that say, oh, this is just a fluke. It's not. It's also not the end of the world either. It feels more like a lot of needless pain and suffering... if people only would have done more for themselves kind of thing. The years, right now that come to mind anyway are around 2013, 2017, 2025. But it won't just come out of the blue. it happens in stages. Tax default will be one of them.

On the news the other night a couple was interviewed as they sat at their kitchen table. They talked about having a hard time paying their bills and they were so excited that Obama would soon be helping them. I really think some of these people think that they are going to start getting a monthly welfare check from the government starting in January. They are in for a big fall.

On a side note, the story of the Obama workers getting short changed made me wonder if Octave wasn't one of the workers standing in line waiting for her/his money. She hasn't posted since the election so maybe her job has ended.

At least we will see an end to the Killkenny thread as there will be nobody to refresh it every other day

That reminds me, I saw a hysterical news clip on You Tube, in which an Obama supporter interviewed at one of his rallies excitedly told the reporter that she wouldn't have to pay for her gas or mortgage now- if she helps Obama, he'll help her! She's in for a bit of a shock.
