I had the novasure procedure done almost a year ago. It has been great...........until today......? I have had very slight spotting periods up until now. It was wonderful!!!!! But within the last couple of days, I've gotten a much heavier period and severe cramping. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else or is this something I should be concerned with?

I had this procedure in March of 2006, because of heavy, month long periods,,,I have had some "spotting" during my menstrual cycle, along with my regular PMS symptoms, which is not a problem,,,but for about the last year I get the most painful cramps, almost like constant labor-type pains that put me down for two days out of the month. My tubes were tied in 1996 and because of a hematoma-type cyst on my right ovary was removed in 2000. My gyno did a ultrasound about a year ago, and just blows me off when I call about the severe pain each month,,,tells me to take ibuprofen! I been through labor 5 times, and an epidural for just one of my deliveries, and the pain I get is worse than it,,,I just want to know why I am in so much misery!?

It's been ten months for me and this morning I had my first time with more than spotting. My back pain is horrible. It's been hurting for over a week. The pain wraps around my body at my hips. I need 800 Motrin for first time in ten months.

That is how my pain is,,,something like, back-labor type pains. Heat helps a bit and found that one of Hubby's muscle relaxers takes some of the edge off also. Was glad my primary Dr game me script for Vicodin, and after taking one of those I am out of it. Still makes me dread my monthly cycle though! Finally going to a new gyno next week, will post any new info I find out.

I still feel terrible. Dont know if it's the cold weather or organs, bones or muscles. I'm doing stretching exercises to see if it helps.
