I always find it interesting that each year the Republicans try to fight "voter fraud" by making up stories about ACORN and other organizations that try to register voters.
Why are Republicans so afraid of more people being registered to vote?
The process that ACORN uses to register voters is mandated by the law of the land, they MUST turn in every registration even if they feel it might be fraudulent. They flag these forms as possible problems THEMSELVES.
ACORN is a good organization and they're not going to be intimidated just because of some nut jobs trying to make up stories about them.
Alberto Gonzales fired Republican U.S. Attorneys because they refused to prosecute ACORN and other voter assistance groups on trumped up fraud charges.
This led Karl Rove, Gonzales and other top Department of Justice officials to resign.
There is absolutely no proof or reason for ACORN to falsify voter registration documents.
