I have a small store that carries gemstones, books, cd's etc. I'm always interested in adding new products. Any suggestions as to what you'd like to see in a store? I'm looking at getting subliminal tapes by Kelly Howell. Has anyone used them, and do you feel they work?

thanks for your help

Thank you for your input, at least I'm on the right track.
I have a few different tarot decks, and Oracle cards. I love my own personal "Healing with Fairies" cards by Doreen Virtue. I will definitely look into your book, as my customers are always looking for a way to make reading tarot cards easier.

I haven't used any subliminal CD's, but I do have some meditation ones I like to use. They are very relaxing.

Hmm, what would I like to see in a New Age store? Music that isn't Enya. Lots of crystals. Books on anything remotely related to New-Agey type stuff. Soy candles. I can't find soy tea lights anywhere!!

Hope that helps!

Appreciate the feedback. Soy candles are great, I have the votives and jar candles, but no tea lights. I like the way the containers wash out easily after the candle is done. Enya's alright, but I prefer the meditative zen music.

Soy candles are also better for the environment, since they don't use petroleum products. They tend to burn longer than petroleum-based candles as well. I hope to see more stores carrying them in the relatively near future.

I actually use beeswax tea lights, but they are hard to find and I get them through mail order. I use them for my Himalayan salt lamps, which I think are a great product to carry!

When I go into a store like yours - I look for books, candles of all types, essential and fragranced oils, jewelry, fairy items, tarot decks and oracle decks, too.

I have heard meditation cd's and I love them! I have not heard any tapes or cd's by Kelly Howell, so I cannot tell you anything there. (But I also like Enya - sorry)

Oh - bumper stickers like:
Isis, Isis.......Ra Ra Ra!- and - It just hasn't been the same since that house fell on my sister. - and - Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup.

Jewelry with pentagrams, crystals, gemstones, and oh - the pendulums!
