Never - ever - have I heard more a vacuous, vapid response to a question from a major candidate for public office:

Far, far more frightful is supporting a candidate with KNOWN terrorist and radical ties. Octave, you need to lose the "high schoolish antics" and be an adult. There is just too much at stake with this election.

Obama's Close Ties with Radical Ayers

Obama Worked with TERRORIST

The biggest difference between Palin and Biden is that Biden has had many years of face time with cameras and reporters and is more polished. If you're impressed by big words, have at.

I'm more concerned, however, with the individual who will assume the roled of head of state.

Kay, you need to turn off Fox News and college dropout Rush Limbaugh and find some adult reading material. We do NOT need a vapid, vacuous presence like Sarah Palin in the White House, especially when she'd be a 72-year-old heartbeat away from the presidency - She is simply not qualified.

Let's try a little reading material from today's Washington Post:

"The 60 percent who now see Palin as insufficiently experienced to step into the presidency is steeply higher than in a Post-ABC poll after her nomination early last month. Democrats and Republicans alike are now more apt to doubt her qualifications, but the biggest shift has come among independents....

Palin now repels more independents than she attracts to McCain. The share of independent women less apt to support McCain because of the Palin pick has more than doubled to 34 percent, while the percentage more inclined to support him is down eight points."

Read the Constitution. I guess you don't need brains to be Vice President as long as the President stays healthy. smile You only vote on tie votes in the Senate and recognize the Senators while they debate stuff. Figuring the minimum requirements to be a Vice President, I think the job is probably overpaid. LOL

I've read it, but thanks for the tip. Doesn't mean I appreciate the news media editing things to make people look stupid. I doubt Obama or his camp appreciate it when it happens to them either. And I think most educated American people don't appreciate it because we want the truth, not half-truths edited for some biased agenda. However, at least the educated Americans know to dig a little deeper to get to the truth of the matter. To find out what was really said. I'm not even claiming Palin is the be all end all Messiah that Obama is. I'm just saying that all the politicians should be shown some respect and not be taken out of context and edited down to the point they sound like idiots. Given that the majority of the media is liberal-biased, I think it works in Obama's favor in most cases, but I am sure he has been a victim as well. I am not even saying that the republicans are innocent. I am saying that I don't personally appreciate it. Freedom of speech is great, yes. But really, I find it pretty sad that the democratic party feels so threatened by Palin that they cannot even let her words speak for themselves, they have to edit her down. Talk about "free Sarah"... exactly! I give her mega-kudos for even giving them the time of day, knowing they would probably butcher what she said.

Seriously though, don't worry. The Obama propaganda is working. I don't doubt he'll win. Which is why I am so curious as to why the democrats still feel so threatened.
