Hello Manisha, Welcome to the forum. I would use whatever shampoo that is gentle and is appropriate for her hair texture. If her hair is fine, you will want something that does not make it limp. If her hair is coarse, you will want something that is moisturizing and softens her hair.
However, if you are afraid that regular shampoo will burn her eyes, keep using baby shampoo untill she is older.

I still use Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo on my hair sometimes, to give it a break from the chemicals and things in "adult shampoo".
Especially after I've had my hair colored, I find the baby shampoo is very gentle on the color and my scalp.
So there's nothing wrong with using this shampoo when they're older at all. The only thing I did differently was as my daughter's hair grew longer, I would use the baby shampoo with conditioner in it, because it made it easier to brush out after her bath.

Many many thanks to both of you.
There is one more question coming into my mind and that is I don't use hair oil for her hair regularly, normally once in a week.Is it fine? I use Coconut oil for her hair. She has soft silky hair.
Thanks.

It's fine to use it at this rate. I know a lot of people who never use hair oil and it still looks fine, so missing it once or twice won't be bad.
As for the shampoo: every person is different, once you see that the effect of the shampoo wears off, it's time to search for another product. If the current shampoo works fine, stay with it.

HI, I just wanted to add that I always use baby shampoo. When I used regular shampoos they really irritated my eyes. So, I find the baby shampoo very gentle & it does a good job for me.
I stocked up on it & the store clerk asked me how old is my baby? I told her my baby is 24 (my daughter) & the shampoo's are for myself. The clerk just assumed that I was buying them for a baby or small child.
I have heard of coconut oil for the hair but I never tried it. I might some day. Have a good day. Judy K. Chicago.

Well,i don't use hair oil too,I don't remember when did I use hair oil last time? But my hair are still silky but one problem i have and that is growth of my hair is not much. And then i think besides taking nutritious food i must use hair oil before shampoo my hair. May be, it would help me to increase the growth of my hair.
(Sorry, if wrong English is used)

The hair oil itself will not increase hair growth but the scalp massage - with or without oil - may help. I believe the most important things to increase growth would be a healthy clean scalp, nutrition and exercize.
