I think it's a little bit of both. When it's your child especially, you kind of need to step back like you mentioned. I'm personally uncomfortable around babies. When my daughter was born, I know it's supposed to sound mystical, but I really didn't start seeing evidence of her crystal nature until she was older, maybe 4-5.

She is very open to mind communication. She answers a lot of things I'm thinking or comes running in the house when I'm wondering where she's at. She's also intuned to nature and preserving it at all cost. She'll ask to pull over, which is usually already going on in my mind, when we/she sees a turtle in the road or cover an early catterpillar with leaves and hay.

When she was 3 she use to chant, "Save planet Earth." over and over. The first time she spoke it was the day after 9/11. The whole family just looked over their shoulder at her in one simultaneous act. None of us taught her that and I went out of my way not to turn her into a video baby so avoided games and tv and no daycare. We were in CT visiting her grandparents at the time and took a flight out there.

Also, when she was in her car seat, I think she was 6. We had just got done shopping at Dollar General. I picked her up out of the cart and her face started turning red - a deep red. Then she started crying. It was a much smoother process than how I'm describing. But, when I asked her what was wrong, for a while she couldn't say or explain, then she finally said, the sunset mom.

Thank you so much for those links... they were incredibly helpful in helping me to understand myself better as an Indigo. Thank you Eleise for sharing about your daughter. What a beautiful little girl she is. It must be quite remarkable watching her grow, not only as a human being, but as a child who is so intune with things.

I have two children who are now wonderful teenagers. I love them dearly and have felt them to be such a gift. I seem to be learning from them on a daily basis! The experiences I had with them, and the experiences I am currently having with our new daughter are very very different. My life with them feels quite 'earth oriented' where as this brand new baby feels very 'ethereal'. This is what got me curious about this phenomenon of crystal children. I am not overly fond of babies, but love my own. I don't find my heart swells or the angels sing when I see or hold a baby, but something quite magical happens around THIS baby. It is like she chooses her person, and then emits a 'pink' bubble to them. It envelopes them and they immediately feel different. Even their own energies change and become soothed. She doesn't do this with everyone, infact, at times she will become incredibly distressed if she is approached by some people who exude a certain feeling.

She seems to be able to tell me what she needs before she needs it. I am not a person who is able to see aura's or anything of that nature, so to be able to experience what this baby does, is out of the norm for me.

It is incredibly reassuring, exciting, and liberating to see that so many of these precious children are here with us now. Our earth has hope.

I'm surprised to see Bonnie's input in this topic. For a while I thought my oldest son (now 30) might be a Crystal Child but after much research I have come to believe it is more likely he is on the high functioning end of the Autism Spectrum.

Some of the descriptions of Crystals and Autistic or Aspergers children are quite similar.

It's interesting to see how the incidence of both is increasing so dramatically.

Phyllis had drawn my attention back to this subject because she said that my descriptions of my son (who has Asperger's) sounded very much like one of these children.

And I have discussed my gut-theory (meaning no science behind this, just an "intuition" type thing) about the possibility that kids on the Autism spectrum are humanity's next jump on the evolution chain. That these kids aren't disabled, and it is not so much that they can't communicate with us - but that we don't know how to communicate with them.

What I am very curious to see is the first "batch" of Autism spectrum children (that have had therapy and know what's happening) are now approaching adulthood. (I know there are many adults that have been back-diagnosed with Autism, but this will be the baby-boomer section).

Anyway, now that these kids are reaching adulthood, entering college, and getting ready for the real world - will one of these kids be the one that figures out how we can bridge the gap. After all - they've been on the hard side of the Spectrum, and know what the frustrations feel like. They have the insight and the desire to reach out to us.

I think the next 5 years are going to prove to be very interesting.

To teach and train a nation can begin with one person. With each generation it becomes a stronger pathway to a way of life.

Since my last post, I have been doing a bit of reading about this topic. It is a fascinating realisation that we as a race have such a bright future.

It is true that autism is on the increase as a diagnosis, and that many of the Cyrstal children are being misdiagnosed with autism due to the majority of these children talking later than the 'norm', they also can go into trance like states (especially when out in nature), and often are using alternative means of communication, like telepathy. However they are incredibly interactive, loving, happy and intuitive, which sets them apart from those with true autism.

While some autistic children MAY be crystal children, not all crystal children are autistic.

We have now realised that our daughter is communicating with us on a telepathic level, which is an incredible 'freaky' experience, however now that we are aware of it, and open to it, many exicting doors are opening for us as her parents.
