BellaOnline Forums Money Abundance & Wealth Can people pay their bills by blogging?

I have heard of many people who are actually able to pay all their bills and then some - simply by posting their blogs online effectively. If indeed this is possible, does anyone know of some great blogging tips?

I think that blogging is effective if it is a paid blogging site or it has a product that it's promoting. Otherwise, how would it make money? I'm interested. Tell me about it.

I have an artist friend who has a blog connected to her website. She posts a new small painting on the blog nearly every day and sells several of them a week.

I used a site called The Niche Blogger to build my EZ Boomer Living blog. She goes step by step through how to build a self hosted Wordpress blog for making money. She goes over every widget and plugin that will help you with the search engines and tells you how to monetize it.

According to her plan, she says to start one blog a month for a year using her plan and you can make $3,000 a month. I've only had my blog going a short time but using her methods I'm getting great traffic, unlike my blogger.com blog that I had for about a year.

It does cost to join the Niche Blogger but I think it's well worth the money for anyone who really wants to make money blogging. There is info about her site on my blog.
