The new article up at the RV site has to do with my can't live without things in the rig...

Here are a few more:

my memory foam mattress topper
my electric mattress pad that keeps me toasty
my knitting bag
my magic bullet blender
my electric shaver for those quick leg swipes

Tell me what you find that you can't live without...

We don't have our rig yet but I read your newsletter about buying an ice maker. I think this is one thing I'd absolutely need to travel.

I agree with audiobooks too. I listen to audio books every day when I walk and love them.

I'd also say, my laptop as that's how I earn my living.

I keep a supply of jigsaw puzzles on board that I buy at flea markets. The 500 piece ones are just perfect for the table in the living area. I get up early and make some coffee, turn on some music while my husband sleeps in.

I must have my small slow-cooker, and my full-size and half-size wide mouth thermoses. I like to cook in the morning (especially wise in the hot summertime). Then I put the hot, cooked foods in the thermoses, so that they stay hot until I want to eat. This plan is nice, because you can have all the cooking items washed, dried, and put away early. And it is especially nice to have your meal waiting if you were on the road traveling, and tired at the end of the day. (Just 'season' the thermoses with boiling water while you cook the food, to make the thermos hot, and keep the food hot longer. And use the hot water later for the final wash-up, or a sponge bath.)

That sounds super nice about the puzzles in the AM during coffee. I will have to do that!

Um, for me, laptop and iTouch, agreed on thermos and slow cooker, potty pads for doggies, my pillows and pima cotton sheets, painting supplies, sci-fi DVDs, cell phone, yoga mat, slippers, my Flylady calendar, mini paper shredder and office supplies, a supply of fresh books and a good vacuum cleaner with lots of tools.

I adore audiobooks - they are superb to listen to while driving! When Bob and I go on long trips we often bring books to listen to together, and then discuss during meal stops smile Great idea!!

Is a pressure cooker the same as a crock pot? Because I definitely take that on trips to make my easy lentil stew.
