Hi My favorites are also the smaller tomatoes - cherry and roma. Delicious! I love tomatoes right from the garden that are ripe and juicy. They are great sliced up in a tomato sandwich or even just cut on a plate with a little pepper. I've been wanting to make kabobs for the grill and cherry tomatoes are a must for that. I read a great article about taking All American Favorites and turning them into a healthy meal - kabobs is on the list and I've been wanting them ever since!
I have a lot to learn - I had one tomato plant in a container on my deck. It had one tomato and by the time it was ripe, it was damaged and not edible. There is nothing like a tomato ripened on the vine, picked, and eaten.
