In remembering September 11th in my own way, I just posted an article on my Christian Lit site, "A Book Tribute," which lists just a few of the books that recount the destruction of our security as Americans and offer hope and wisdom. I like the K9 dog book, and I remember watching those dogs on TV and looking at my own huge black lab and thinking how big a part they play in everything. They worked tirelessly along with the firefighters and everyone else at Ground Zero.
I don't think we should forget this. I hope I remember it every single year until I die. Not the bad feelings or the fear, but the bravery and tenacity of the American spirit.
I know there are lots of books on 9/11, but I couldn't list them all. Which ones would you add?
