I posted my new article yesterday and sent out the newsletter promoting it...however, I made a little faux pas. When I wrote the article, the Amazon link to the book I was reviewing was an active link with new books to purchase for $14.95. I did a quick review of the site this am and to my horror, the book advertised by Amazon was over $40! Yikes! This was for "used" books only, they had obviously sold out the new and would not be offering the new books anymore. It was certainly not my intention...recommending a $40 book. I quickly removed the link and added the publisher's link where the book can be purcahsed for $14.95.
This editor has learned a very important lesson...double check the links to make sure they are correct!
