Hello! I'm Michelle, your new editor for the Spirituality site.

I'm very excited about getting to write for this site. I'm on a bit of a "spiritual journey" myself right now. I've been finding that there are beautiful teachings and practices from all around the world, within different religions and philosophies. And I am looking forward to sharing the insights and inspirations that I have been getting.

There are a few rules to this forum - but they basically boil down to; "be respectful of others".

No advertisements - these will be removed immediately.
Debate is welcome, insults and name-calling are not. No flaming.
No arguing whose religion is "right" or "wrong". We will be exploring many religions as sources of inspiration, but this will not be an excuse to try and convert someone.

This forum is intended to be about growth and contentment in the area of personal Spirituality. We can all learn from each other and help each other through good times and bad.

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone!

I am so glad you have this site! What a wonderful thing to be able to write about. Spirituality covers such a vast area and I am sure you are going to do a great job!

I love the Spirituality of Native Americans - that is what draws me so much to them.

Right now I am working on about 3 different articles - and it will be a race to see which one I finish first. So it will be a surprise to all of us.

What religion or Spiritual path do you follow or what calls to you? You said you are on a journey... Is there an artical you have or will write that you share about your journey? you sound like you have a real story to tell!

I am a Christian (of Southern Baptist upbringing specifically), but as I have been participating on these forums and reading these past several years I have come to know so many lovely people of different faiths it has made me take a second look at many religions that I had always been taught were "wrong" or "evil".

Jesus Christ is still my heartsong, but I feel there is a lot to be leaned especially from the Buddhist faith, Taoism has some amazing insights, and {GASP} even the Wiccan and pagan faiths have beauty and some amazing purity about them that I think everyone can learn from.

I am especially being pulled towards nature in my own wuiet times and meditations. I think a lot of us Christians have kind of focused so much on the church building that we have overlooked the majesty that God has already created for us.

Whew - that was a mouthful, LOL. I don't have an official article about myslef, but you can pretty much get a sense of me in all of my articles. It is one reason why I applied for this site, because it was really calling to my soul.

after I posted the question I thought Gee Nosey much? I am glad I didnt offend you! I am kinda like you in a way I was raised methodist but I am called to wiccan and other pagan paths and gnosic is now where I have been studying. I have tried to study buddist but it must not be the right time because it just goes over my head. I know that I am probly just makeing it harder then it is because it is such a wide and open religion and I want to make it neat and tity and put it in a box! Wicca was hard at first but I was so fasanated by the path that I had to learn everything I could anyways! there is so much wisdom out there if you just open yourself up to it and I believe that is what we are ment to do! God is so vast how can one human religion understand it all? and there is so much overlaping in the bible stories with other mythologys that they just have to come from the same place!
