OK, this one is simple-if you want to blow up a balloon, without using your mouth here is what you need. I used a small soda bottle (20 oz.), and added vinegar to the bottle. Use a funnel and put some baking soda into a balloon. Put the balloon onto the top of the bottle, dump the baking soda into the vinegar and ....... you have an inflating balloon. You can choose to hold onto the balloon to see how much it blows up, or you can have the fun and excitement of letting it go (just be prepared for a little bakding soda dust!) My Brownie Girl Scout troop had so much fun with this, and so did the parents who helped that day. We also did several other science experiments that had some craft components, but I'll save that for another time. Please let me know what you have done.
