As a results of high cost of living, many people especially women who likes to shop for accessories such as jewelry, opt for better option such as replace white gold with sterling silver.

My question is - do you finding yourself stop shopping for jewelry to cut costs or still want to look good but go for budget fashion jewelry these days?

Well Always women make a budget for shopping jewelry. It is quite interesting to the of cut cots of jewelry.

As inflation rate is increasing day by day i think that the probability of purchasing jewelries of higher rate is become lesser.Womens are the home managers so they will always prefer to purchase "lesser price with high quality" jewelries.I have seen many jewelries with good designs and lesser price.So,even if womens are shifting towards lower pricing jewelries they have plenty of good quality options open for them.

I agree with you. Women is always the one who manage the household account. So we should looking ways minimize house budget by looking for cheaper options. Maybe changing white gold to silver accessories is one of the options?

Budgeting for jewelry? Have you looked at BellaOnline's jewelry making site? There are plenty of places - like Fire Mountain Gems to get good quality beads, findings, etc.

Remember - if you make it yourself, you can always say you wear designer jewelry.....you're the designer.

You could always sell your items and make some extra budget money, too!!

Thank you Robin for the ideas. I have visited the jewelry making site. Its really a good and great ideas of helping women to be independent and produce their own designer brand of jewelry.

There are lots of creative people out there, but some of us might not so creative to create our own jewelry. Maybe some of us don't even interested to make it themselves. What they can do to be always attractive with beautiful accessories is by finding better option. I read lots of budget fashionista blog and website that gives ideas on how to get cheaper option. Maybe they can get advice from there?

Azalea - have you tried AVON? I wouldn't overlook them....I have AVON pieces from the early 1980's that are still going strong.

They have real gemstones, sterling silver, diamonds, etc....

AVON has prices that you can afford - and when they have a sale - they have a sale!!!

Our Ethnic Beauty Editor is an AVON lady... I have ordered form her site and the shipping is only $3!! That is a bargain in itself nowdays..

Hi Robin, I am also Avon dealer in my country and I agree that Avon jewelry is quality and good. The reason why I am asking about the budget on jewelry to the forum member is to make survey for my own jewelry online store. I already see how people are interested to buy jewelry from Avon, so its a available market there for me to go in. The different is Avon have credibility because of its branding and longevity.

Sorry for not telling this earlier because its still not launching yet. I am still looking for the perfect time and understand the needs of my target market.
