So I got a different kind of bingo than usual. My next door neighbor is a area representative for finding families to host foreign exchange students. She was not able to place one of the girls, and so they would have two girls in an already crowded house. She had asked me once before if I would host, and I told her no. Now the other day, she runs up to me and my husband when we came home trying to convince us to host the girl. The bingo is in that she kept mentioning how we have a "nice house" (translated: you are the only two living in a house, you have plenty of space...) When we refused her again, she was pretty upset, you could tell she was thinking about how "selfish" we were to not do this. I'm like, you know, I'm only 25, I don't see how much good I'm going to be acting like a 16 year olds mother! This is pretty annoying that she would hound us just because we have room for a kid. Has anyone had this type of thing happen to them?
