Music isn't a science, it's an art. So it's no wonder he came up with that list. Only one Beatle album. It's an okay list but not what I would have picked.
Vance, what would be your pick?

I would have picked Dark Side of the Moon from Pink Floyd probably.

I would have picked any Hank Williams album over that list.

There were 2 Beatles albums on there:
#7 The White Album
#5 Abbey Road

Led Zeppelin had 4 on there.

Supposedly this was done on a mathematical scale (still trying to figure out exactly what that scale was - I think this guy used some form of Calculus) crazy

The only thing I can figure is that people who like music like Stevie Wonder and "soft rock" and love songs tend to go out and buy the same thing over and over again. While those of us who like the harder stuff are always on the lookout for something new. So our favorites didn't have as much "holding power". Go figure!

Personally my favorites were:
Metallica
Purple Rain
Hotel California

Oh - and I was very surprised not to see an Elvis, Queen, or Chicago album on there.

Man, what a rotten list. George Michael?! Come on. There's nothing from The Who, no Stones, blah. That's a heck of a lot of Zeppelin for my taste.
