I read somewhere on organizing your beads when you are dealing with lots of different color and number of beads, just use inexpensive devil egg trays. It will make your work easier.

Perhaps I do this too much, but maybe not. I plan my work on a bead design tray. I leave it in a place where it won't be disturbed. When I come back to it at a later time - even 10 minutes...if I still like the design - I make it.

I have made necklaces before, then taken them apart and redid them differently, because there was something I ended up not liking.

When I am making a stringing project I always make sure to put a seed bead, small ball, or something between the crimp (usually tornado crimp) and the clasp. This way the metal crimp does not cause wear and eventually tear on the Soft Flex by rubbing on the clasp. I don't usually use wire guardians because I think they are too big. I have used some French wire at times but still don't like the look.

When making stretch bracelets - no matter how many times I knot the elastic cord, I always put a drop of glue to help hold it.
