We went to Camping La Paz, in Northern 'Green Spain.'
Our pitch was directly on the cliff top! There was a
path down to the beach but the site was really hilly.
Stunning location though.
Green,cool,damp - not very Spanish!
We preferred southern spain.

Did you have any trouble getting around Spain? Did you use travelers checks, debit card, ATM card, charge card, Euros?

We used ATMs - but you have to remember to advise your bank you may be withdrawing cash in a different pattern - otherwise they may freeze your card to protect you.

We got around fine - but were advised never to stop to help anyone ...... apparently its a common scam there to waylay people. Sadly, the bigger less remote campsites seemed to be the only safe ones to use. Camping in the middle of London even seemed safer!

I do not have an atm for a large bank, just a credit union. I gather they do use charge cards although I may have to think about getting an atm card. I know even with charge cards you must advise the credit card company or you may find yourself in a bind.
