BellaOnline Forums Relationships Married No Kids Going on Vacation Tomorrow!

I just thought I'd post this quickly and tell you all about my fiancee and I going to Brown County, Indiana tomorrow. We decided this a few days ago. I think it's relevant because in the future, since we won't be having kids, we can do this whenever we want to. I was off for a few days this week and Tim works one week on, one week off since his schedule is third shift. So we looked at each other and both thought the same thing: Vacation!

I'm so excited. We're driving there in the morning and have our own cottage. I don't plan on ever having a boring summer again, and since I'm child-free, I won't have to!

Wow. That sounds like such a relaxing trip. I am from the city, so my friends and I are planning on finding a cozy cottage to go to in the winter. Being from Miami, we don't have cottages here, so it will be something new for us all. What other places are you planning on going to?

Awesome! Spur of the moment vacations are one of my FAVORITE benefits of being child free! Chris and I love to travel.

My hubby surprised me last year with a trip to Hawaii for our anniversary! How fantastic is that? I had a few days to pack and then we were off to beaufiful sun and sea.

I was reading your post and noticed you are from Miami. My husband and I moved from Miami to North East Georgia around two years ago and we just loved it here. It was a little hard for me at first since I have lived most of my life in Miami but I just love the mountains. We would always go to to mountains for vacation and now I can say I live where I just to vacation to.

I was in Miami a few weeks ago since my family is there. I had forgotten how hectic the city is, even though it does have it's beauty.

Anyway, I just wanted to touch base since we are both from the same city.
