Ladies here may well have encountered this product before, but if you haven't, it's well worth investing in!
The Manufacturers ask that if a woman tries it, likes it and finds it really works and stands up to the claims - then we spread the word!

I AM SPREADING THE WORD - !! grin

The Menstrual cup is a small, silicone pliable see-through container that you insert into the [censored] to capture menstrual flow.
It eliminates the need for tampons, and stops you worrying about leakage, odour, disposal of towels and tampons and is hygienic, safe, reliable and very very comfortable.
I've used one, and it's remarkable.

This is a link to a web-site to learn more.
I really, really recommend it.
It's initially pricey, but if you're going to be menstruating for a few more years, it pays for itself in 3 months. That's an awful lot of towels and tampons you're never going to need again!

It comes in 2 sizes, (but it's very easy to determine which one is for you) a handy pretty little cotton draw-string bag, and full instructions.

if you need more info from me, I'll be happy to answer questions.

Why would you say that?
It's not gross at all!
In fact, before women had towels and tampons, they used to have a small porcelain cup to insert....

It's a lot better in latex...
If a man can put a condom on, and a woman can wear a dutch cap... what's the problem, please?

Why do that say using towels, who in this day in age uses towels,
I guess you can't knock it till you tried it.

My teenage daughter uses towels, and women with a very heavy flow, sometimes use towels AND tampons. I know I have....

But I have found now, that even on my heaviest days, I don't need a towel!

EDIT NOTE: Oh, hang on.... We call them 'Towels' in the UK... I think you might call them 'pads' or 'pantie-liners' in the USA....is it a question of name-terms....?

LOL Alexandra!

That reminds me of the thread Nicola (Enlgish Culture editor) had going about how we use different names for the same terms.

Especially when writing, because we just write what we think -and it is so easy for all of us to forget how global this forum really is!

I know, I know... Use of towels is quite funny...

Light flow, for the start and end of your period, (face flannel)
Light to medium flow (guest towel) heavy days (bath towel) and for those really strenuous times, the economy double-thick version (two beach towels and a bathrobe....!)
