I am against the Death Penalty too for many of the reasons Obama is. But, we do have it in the USA and if we're going to, why isn't child rape one of those crimes?

I happen to agree with the Supreme court's decision but not for the reasons they have written. My reasons have to do with the fact that most child rapes occur by people the child knows, family members, cousins, uncles, step parents, parents... the child has enough to live with after being raped by this person, to live with the death of that person might be too much to deal with.

The website you had us read is a little misleading in the way it frames the arguments since it seems to be only designed to attack Obama and democrats. So I am guessing you really don't want any type of discourse on this subject, only to advertise your website.

i do not believe the death penalty should be used unless it's treason against the country or when you take another life.

Rape, however vile and harmful it is, doesn't take the life of the victim. As a victim of both child molestation and adult rape, while I may have wanted to have the people dead at the time, i don't think i would have ever been able to have that on my conscience if it had happened.I would have been no better than the rapist
