Wow that sounds like an incredible workout Jill! No wonder you needed a break!

You are such a good hostess!

okay, didn't actually do any exercise while MIL was here at all. No yoga. We ran around and went to antique stores, thrift shops, house hunting and seeing things.

So I need to catch up now! It's been in the 90s today and really hot in the house (no AC), so I just did 45 minutes of bed yoga.

When it cools off tonite i plan to do some twisting and treading. smile

I didn't do any twisting last night as DH and I had a lovely evening hanging out o the back deck and looking at the view and talking.

So i did do 20 minutes of PM bed yoga, which was nice.

Yeah, Lisa, I like hosting. I always try to add little touches so they feel like they are staying in a high end bed and breakfast. I can't cook, but I do like to spray their linens with lavender water, have a goodie basket and freshly washed, pretty towels stacks out, and provide fresh flowers. Maybe I should do towel animals!

Towel animals is a really cool idea smile I love towel animals!!

Skyhaven that is awesome that you are so diligent about walking! I'm sorry that your knee hurts. Can you do something about that, maybe a heat wrap or something?

I still haven't done any "formal" exercise in a while - I've been flat out with trying to catch up my mail - but I have been trying to work exercise into every little moment that I'm free. Even in bed I do breathing exercises and such. It really seems to be helping!

Rosie, i think the gentle walking will definitely help with your knees if you keep it up! It will keep that synovial fluid flowing where it should be. smile

Last night I did 63 minutes of treadmill intervals and 15 mins of bed yoga.
