Today I am hoping to get in a walk with hubby and maybe doggies, then do some yoga tonite.

Tomorrow we are heading (with dogs) to my sister's, who is hosting father's day. I plan to wear my pedo, bring my fat tester, and bring four twist boards with pool noodles for family fun. DH and I each have a twist board, and I got one for dad and one for my sis...everybody twist!

Well I was pretty stationary all weekend, between my dad coming over and golf etc. being on TV. I'm sitting here watching the Biggest Loser and thinking I really need to start getting active again. I'm in the middle of a huge origami project that has to be done in a few days, so once it is done, I can get started again!

Good for you Lisa. BL always gets my motivation really high.

We all twisted a bit on sunday but not as much as I'd hoped. My father thought the twist board was a weird gift, but mom immediately grabbed it and started messing around. My sister and her daughter loved it. So we all tried to twist high and twist low, and then I showed them one-legged!

yesterday I got in 75 minutes on my treadmill and did intervals.

My MIL is coming to stay with us a few days - and she used to do yoga very regularly. So i am very excited to do yoga with her. It's nice to have a partner. Dan isn't doing as much of yoga as he used to - he is doing the tai chi - so it's harder for me to get upstairs on our dirty plywookd floor full of staples and do it.

So hopefully having MIL here will be a great incentive to do yoga together. PLus we will go to all the antique stores in Big Bear...

Jill that is awesome that you'll have a yoga partner! You can share all your cool DVDs with her!

Skyhaven, good for you! So you got in 2 miles plus extra activity!

I really need to carve out even a half hour for some exercise. I am just flat out between the website work and this origami project, which isn't healthy smile

It's funny - today is my day to clean the house for MIL. It's actually a great deal of physical activity and I just sat down for a little break - to reward myself - by checking into the forums. smile

Basically, it's top to bottom - high dusting, appliances, counters, floors, water plants, water garden, mist plants, laundry 1, laundry 2, dishwashing, unloading, dishes and laundry away, wash dogs, dry dogs, brush dogs and do ears and eye stains, clean bathrooms, change guest room linens, air out home, vacuum bedrooms, fluff pillows, prep guest goodie basket...whew! Housework is a workout!
