Have you ever had a feeling about someone and found out later it was true?

Every day, we use one or more of our psychic abilities. When an out of place scent finds us, reminding us of a loved one that's passed or an instant image that sends us the guidance we've prayed for or keeps us out of harms way.

What is your strongest ability and how do you use it?

I don't see or hear things. I just get a "knowing". I must admit that I don't have a clue as to how to use my gift. When I was a child I saw spirits but I was told I was weird by my father and to quit being so silly.

Now, I get a knowing when something major is going to happen in my family. That scares me even though it is meant to comfort. I know that these spirits are here for me, but I still get scared.

yeah i get that too spirits i feel them around me and i also get to just know something will happen my aunt has it too and i was told my grandmother did too...but my "gifts" are more diverse than my other family memebers......I have no clue how to control all of it the list is in my last post but I can meet someone and just know what type of person they are and sometimes other things to without even talking to them its very unsettling sometimes i wish i could turn it off somedays....I just sometimes don't know where i end and someone else beings...PLEASE HELP

I TOO JUST KNOW SOMETHING, AND WHEN I TELL SOMEONE I DON'T KNOW WHY JUST TRUST ME " I MEAN I KNOW". IT REALLY IS NOT SCARY FOR ME. ONLY ONCE AND EVEN WHEN NO ONE BELIEVED ME I PROVED IT TRUE. UNFORTUNATELY I DIDN'T GET A CHANCE THE SECOND TIME. IT COST A LIFE. EVEN AFTER I PROVED TO MY EX AND EVERYONE THAT I KNEW WHAT I SAID WAS RIGHT THEY ONE BY ONE LET HIM DOWN. AS I WAITED TO EITHER FIND OUT WERE TO FIND HIM OR GET A PHONE CALL FROM A SHERIFF WITH REALLY BAD NEWS I GOT THE LATTER. ISAVED HIM 3 WEEKS PRIOR BY PURE GUT AND INSTINCT AND WHEN HE WAS CRYING OUT FOR HELP IN THE ONLY WAY HE KNEW HOW AND I STOPPED HIM OTHERS CLOSER TO HIM LET HIM DOWN ONE BY ONE. I WILL SAVE OTHERS IN HIS NAME AND HONOR. i WILL START A MEMORIAL FUND TO RAISE MONEY FOR SUCICIDE EDUCATION AND PREVENTION. I BELEIVE EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON AND EVEN WHEN IT SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED THEN SOMETHING ELSE IS MEANT TO BE.

I WAS WONDERING IF YOU ALSO GET PICTURES OF ORBS? I AM TRYING TO LEARN TO RECIEVE BETTER THRU LIVING AND BREATHING THRU MY HEART. THE FIRST TIME WHICH WAS RECENTLY THAT I ACTUALLY READ ABOUT THINGS THAT I KNOW BUT DON'T REALLY KNOW IT WAS SO NEAT. THE BOOK I ORDERED IS CALLED YOUR SIXTH SENSE. THE FIRST HALF OF THE BOOK I DIDN'T EVEN NEED TO READ BECAUSE I HAD ALREADY FIGURED A LOT OUT MYSELF. TESTING THAT THOUGHT THAT IS NOT REALLY RANDOM BUT MY SIXTH SENSE. ONCE I KNEW MORE THAN NOT THAT WHEN I WOULD SAY TO MYSELF I SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS OR I SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT AND YOU START ACTING ON IT THERE IS NO MORE HYNSITE BECAUSE YOU START DOING WHAT YOU KNOW. TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS.

I don't get anything except the "knowing" and an occasional dream of something that has already happened but I didn't know about it. For instance, my brother accidentally shot his foot in a hunting accident. We went down to his house and I slept in his bed that night. I had a dream of him crying and saying my basketball career, he was only 14 at the time, was over. I woke up and went into my mom and dad's living room. It woke my mother up and I told her my dream. She gave me the "you scare me" look. Later that afternoon she said that my dream had happened the night before we came down. She said he was horrified that his basketball "career" was over.

At the time the only thing I thouht was "yeah, career, as if". I think it was the "you scare me" look that shut the "coicidence down for me.

My abilites use to scare me and I suppressed them for a long time afraid to see or feel what they brought me. Then I began letting them in again by the suggestion of a friend. I think the hardest part is filtering for me. I think I am to the point where I have a handle on it but the thing that really confuses me is what to do with the information I get. I have learned that it is not always something to be shared. I often find myself talking to peoples thoughts rather then what is being said. My strogest ability is to see what people hide within them and to know what lies before them. I can also see what the spirits around them want them to know. I admit I don't always share. Some people can't handle it or don't understand it. Then on the other hand you have people who want to tap into my gift everytime they see me and it doesn't work that way. I have a big question that I don't understand with my ability and it is why am I given names? What are these names? Sometimes they are attached to people who have to idea what the name could mean. I always assume the name is to a spirit and sometimes it is but sometimes the person is still alive in that persons life.

My strongest ability is to provoke awakening, to awaken other people to their soul and pure existence. I am awakened and enlightened Buddhist spiritual master, and this is my greatest power. I get people to see light where there doesn't seem to see light. BUT, each one has to do their home work.

My second top-ability is to call for justice. I summon the presence of Divine Justice, and everyone's karma is quickly resolved in a given situation. Thus, sometimes, everything starts to go wrong with someone when i use this ability, because it makes all your karma pop-up. However, it purifies so quickly that once it is done, everything is so marvelous. Thus, no one can flee his responsibility, but i get the payments run fast, and then freedom comes, great bliss.

I think my strongest ability is not really a controllable ability, but it happens often enough for me to notice. I get De JaVue from dreams that seem so absurd when I have the dreams and I dismiss them saying, "Ahh that could never happen."
Later, I will be just going about my life and the dream will just happen. I will see things as I remember them from the dreams and say, "AH HA! I remember this!"
(However it usualy freaks me out a little and I try to dismiss it.)

Thank you for pointing out just how accesible our own personal psychic abiltiies really are

I always tell people, they don't have to look very far to find a true paranormal experience. They're, litterally, in our own back yard.

It really bothers me when people search high and low for "proof" or pay thousands upon thousands of dollars for so called, "super powers."

It's one thing if you are sincerely investigating, needing investigation in a paranormal situation or even wanting to learn how to develop your personal sixth sense. But, it should go without saying, expect to reasonably pay like anything we want or need further information on.

I think people can get the impression these particular assets are miracles in a bottle and can add up in about the same fashion as paying for those miracle pills that make you lose 50 lbs over night.

Nothing makes you psychic, we already are. We can enhance it but it isn't going to be the amount of dollars that increases it's value, you know?
