I'm so pleased Skyhaven posted about workaday exercise! I often pass by here guiltily cos I prefer to garden! But how many calories might this burn up I wonder? Can it count as daily exercise - I do hope so!

Siobhain, you should put your name in your signature! Otherwise we have to guess what to call you when we respond to you  Do you have a pedometer? I bet you do a number of steps while you garden!

LOL, I was just on my way to the editors forum and profile with my new avatar and previous name! I kinda liked BellaShorts - sounded a bit sporty and lively - all ready for a bit of Daily Exercise lol!
Yes, I must get a pedometer - then I can count how many steps I do when carrying 4 heavy bags of shopping back from the local store every day!

Yesterday I walked to town (3.5 miles or so from that direction) and then did an hour of yoga at night. So a good day, fitness-wise!

BTW, my toes are now looking very pretty with a Caribbean Frost polish! It's the exact color of the ocean in that area of the world. I usually do pinks or bronze colors, but felt flirty and tropical this week.

Yesterday i took a rest day. Today i did 35 minutes of tai chi, then a little over an hour of yoga. It was so nice. I really need to do this everyday - that's when i was happiest.
