There's an article in June's More magazine that says to use a peach concealer on dark under-eye circles instead of a beige/neutral color and then to cover that with a pink tone highlighter or concealer. I've never heard this trick before but the pics they show look like it works really well. Does anyone do this or have any other tips to cover circles?

You're welcome! I'm going to try it too. I need to get a peach concealer - they recommend bobbi brown which I like. There's a step-by-step how-to in the magazines that looks easy to follow. Let me know if you try it and how it works.

It does work really well because it neutralizes the color of the darkened skin underneath the eyes. I'm a huge fan of concealer, especially if it's full-coverage.

I realised lately after using every concealer on the market for about the past 2 decades, that I don't have dark circles so much as dark pigmentation, and for that, Lauren Hutton's concealer that comes in the disc is superb! There are three tones so no matter your skin tone, you can mix it to match. (There's a peachy colour in my disc but I understand there are about four or five discs to choose from depending on skin tone/ethnicity). Also, I'm dark on the upper lids too and this works for that as well. It's a wonderful product!

This sounds like a good trick. I'll have to go check out the make up counter at lunchtime smile

Hey, ladies, I know this may sound weird, but I once read to use lemon juice. Squeeze the lemon juice from a lemon and apply lightly to the darkened area under the eye for no longer than thirty seconds and rinse. Be sure not to get into eyes...ooooh, burn? I tried it in my thirties and it worked fine. It diminished the darkness and lightened the entire area. I did it a few times a week. Just a suggestion.

it's the vitamin c in the citris acid that lightens the dark circles. one of the main ingredients in those under eye creams is citrus acid
