Actually I was on a reviewing kick yesterday so I made a yoga mat spaced spot and did the yoga DS game for an hour. It shows you poses that you then do. It's actually really cool because it has a "construct your own routine" section where you can put any combination of their 80 poses together in any way. So that was good!

Today I finally got downstairs to do some more DDR - so I got in an hour of that. I had to do it in three stages because I kept getting phone calls. I also did some bowflex work on my arms, and then 75 sit-ups.

Tomorrow Bob's band has a gig so I'll be doing a lot of dancing!

He he yes although I can only use simple tools.

Saturday was Bob's gig and I logged over 16,000 steps!! I'll have to plug my pedometer into the computer later to see how many were aerobic ones. I imagine most of them were! I was dancing all night long smile

Now I want to weigh myself tomorrow to see if it helped any smile

I also did some "car yoga" as we drove to and from the gig.

The yoga game I got for the Nintendo DS had a series of "Car yoga" poses.

* you would cross one knee over the other and twist your spine in the direction and hold, then reverse.

* you would lean forward and put your elbows on your knees, and put each palm over each eye as a meditation.

* You would bring one ankle up on the opposite knee and lean down towards it. Also rotate your ankle around

That sort of thing. Bob has an Odyssey now I think, it's some sort of minivan that was getting over 30mpg so very fuel efficient. Normally I am very hesitant about minivans but he managed to get a good one and it was really full to the brim with band gear, so he needs that space. So in any case it has a very roomy passenger spot for doing this. I can stretch one leg out fully and cross the other leg up on it to do these poses full bore. It might be more challenging for someone doing it in a Mustang smile

Today - I did some qi gong (20 min), my No Excuse Workout (6 mins) and plan to walk to town later in the afternoon to meet up with a friend. It's steeply downhill about three miles. (she will just drop me off after).

Yesterday did treadmill, some hanging, my No Excuses Workout and a little bit of bed yoga.

Friday did an hour of treadmill and twisting, some hanging, and an hour of mat yoga while watching House Hunters and Property Virgins on HGTV.

Thursday was my yoga class. That's as far back as I can think right now. I keep forgetting to post here.

Well technically the DS has "chair yoga" but it works well in the car too. It really is about sitting on a chairlike object yoga smile

Today was fight with the mail server day so I really only got some walking around Walmart in, about 11pm when I ran out with Bob to get some quick groceries ... as much as people pick on Walmart, it was the only thing open! I was able to have a lovely salad because of it.

Well, i enjoyed my walk into town, even though about half of it was on a busy road. I might do it again today. I have a pedicure appointment and may as well walk to it. I'd have to work it out that DH picks me up after. I would not want to ruin my nice new toes but a steep, dusty walk home. smile
